The Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Data Science serves approximately 75 majors and 50 minors across programs in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Data Science. In addition, we teach many courses required by other majors across the university. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses such as Algebra, Precalculus and Calculus; other courses may be available depending upon qualifications and experience. Successful candidates must have an advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field, before the appointment commences. They must be committed to excellence in teaching our diverse student population and to work to promote equitable and inclusive classrooms and collaboration spaces.
