Instructor (In-person or Remote Position for Undergraduate Digital Studies Program)
The School of Information Studies at Louisiana State University announces the availability of a full-time Instructor position to teach undergraduate courses in the Digital Studies program including Integrated Learning Core (ILC)/General Education courses and those in support of the School's undergraduate minor. The candidate will have a commitment to teaching excellence. These are 12-month appointments and may be renewed annually. The starting date is negotiable and can be remote.
100% Teaching: Teach undergraduate courses to support the Digital Studies Program, School of Information Studies' Integrated Learning Core (ILC)/General Education courses and undergraduate minor. The teaching load is twelve (12) courses per calendar year: eight (8) courses per academic year (4 per semester) and two (4) courses per summer term.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library or Information Science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Library or Information Science or equivalent
At least one year experience teaching university-level courses online; professional experience in LIS
