The North American Axis Communications’ Academy is comprised of classroom based training, webinars and online modules, with more than 6,000 customers trained annually. The Instructional Designer role will report to the central-based Educational Services organization and is responsible for the overall creation, distribution, and implementation of Axis Communications training materials in North America.
What you’ll do here as Instructional Designer?
Align with subject matter experts to develop industry specific training materials
Develop online courseware leveraging multiple eLearning tools
Gather feedback from the field on existing courseware
Create new course materials based on requirements for learning objectives
Update existing content based on feedback from the field, technology trends, new industry information, Axis product releases and corporate strategy alignment
Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and support Trainer preparedness
Introduce new ideas, teaching methods, and supporting documentation to continue to evolve the Academy offerings
Align courseware with equipment needs, maintenance, and inventory
Support global content development as required

We'd love to hear that you have/are:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Development experience with Articulate Storyline 2/3, and Captivate
Fluent in Microsoft Office and courseware development applications
Valued but not required skills or experience:
Master’s Degree
Previous experience as a technical trainer or project leader managing various elements of a training program
Industry certifications such as PSP, CPP, or partner technology certifications
Axis Certified Professional
Preferred knowledge of Axis and/or related products, expertise in the security/IT industry

Expected travel time for this position is 25-50%.
Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this location and position is $88,000-95,000 annually On Target Earning. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
