The goal of the Title I Instructional Coach is to build capacity by supporting teachers to develop more effective instruction. Instructional coaches work collaboratively with teachers in building their intervention and pedagogical knowledge, support teachers on a day-to-day basis, and facilitate school-wide professional development focused on researched based effective instruction.

Education, Licensure, or Certification
Hold a valid Arizona or Nevada Teaching Certificate.
Complete Spalding I & Spalding II courses.
Demonstrate highly effective teaching experience for three or more years.
Demonstrate knowledge of AzCCRS, content, materials, and resources.
Serve as a role model to all other instructional staff.
Work Experience or Related Experience
Taught three or more years in a variety of grade levels
Spalding Certified Teacher
BACKGROUND CHECKS
The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check
Arizona Employees:
Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must be able to obtain and hold a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times
Travel between campuses is required from time to time.
This position requires the need to lift objects (up to 25 pounds) on occasion.
This position may require sitting for long periods at times, talking on the phone, standing, kneeling, stooping and long periods of concentration.
Local and in-state travel required.
