Institutional Investment Operations Associate - FX Account Maintenance

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Associate on our FX Account Maintenance team.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in lifecycle support tasks for FX institutional trade initiatives and
  • Work on client account onboarding, input and monitoring of client reference data, maintenance of Standard Settlement Instructions and collaborate on project work
  • Provide subject matter expertise on process enhancements
  • Assist stakeholders in bringing individual or teams together in order to resolve issues
  • Identify opportunity for process improvements and communicate those to leadership
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience supporting Foreign Exchange (F/X), Derivatives or Money Market Lines of Business
  • Knowledge and understanding of capital markets products, industry trends, regulatory changes, and industry-wide best practices within Account Maintenance processes
  • Ability to use banking software, desktop software, email, and FX specific applications
  • Knowledge of FX business, international finance, and Standard Settlement Instructions. (SSI0)
  • Knowledge of CMR, OPICS, Calypso, COBAM, and CID is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with global teams
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and work with data
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work at the posted location - 550 South Tryon, Charlotte, NC
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, at least 3 days a week working in office.
  • Ability to work a rotating scheduled between the hours of 8:30am – 7pm Monday - Friday
