To provide the organisation with deep client, sector and market insights in key sectors, originate business and identify opportunities to cross sell for RMB and the broader FirstRand Group in line with shareholders strategic objectives and managing a portfolio of corporate clients within the designated sector.

Are you someone who can:

  • To lead a designated client sector by driving strategic growth, deepening client relationships, and delivering integrated solutions that enhance revenue, client experience, and market positioning.
  • Develop and execute a clear sector strategy to drive revenue growth, identify new opportunities, and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients and stakeholders to unlock cross-sell opportunities and long-term value.
  • Own and manage the institutional client sector portfolio, tracking performance against targets and implementing actions to optimise profitability.
  • Collaborate across product, risk, and service teams to deliver seamless, client-centric solutions and improve service delivery efficiency.
  • Provide expert Public Sector and the Non-Banking Financial Institutions Client’s sector insights, monitor industry trends, and position RMB Namibia as a thought leader within this sector.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are a holder of a Post Graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Science, or related field
  • CFA/CFI Advantageous
  • Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience specializing in Business Development, preferably within the Public Sector and or Non- Banking Financial Institution’s industry.
  • Have an ability to manage and lead a team of Relationship Managers
  • Broad Knowledge of key sectors of the Namibian economy
  • Have an ability to understands, quantify and mitigate risk.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have an ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Assertive with a good level of resilience.
  • Energized by Sales
