As an Associate Analyst you will provide support to the PH&N Institutional team, with a primary focus on private markets including real estate, infrastructure and credit.


What will you do?

  • With close alignment to investment teams, develop and maintain a deep knowledge of market conditions and our portfolio investments.
  • Support our interactions with clients, consultants and prospects by creating content for presentations and other forms of client communication.
  • Support research/creative analysis for research papers, product development, and internal/external presentations and seminars.
  • Directly support institutional portfolio managers on client relationships including composition of written market analysis, creating corresponding charts, slides and written content and managing the production, review, and distribution of periodic client reporting.
  • Respond to requests for information, cash flow management, compliance monitoring, mandate structuring, all in support of strategies employed by our institutional clients.
  • Work with various teams across RBC GAM to facilitate the construction and maintenance of investment management agreements, mandate documents and investment policies.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree; focus in commerce, math/engineering or economics preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years investment / financial services (or related) industry experience.
  • CFA charter holder, candidate, or willingness to pursue the designation.
  • Passion for capital markets and a strong desire to learn and impact on client outcomes
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior literacy of Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work beyond core hours, specifically at quarter-end, and ability to prioritize and multitask to meet tight deadlines.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$67,000.00 - $110,000.00
