Job Description:
This position is responsible for handling and installing Cambria’s natural stone
countertops while interacting with contractors and homeowners in a friendly
and professional manner. As an Installation Technician at Cambria, you will be
working with a team and independently to ensure efficiency and provide high
quality services to Cambria customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Install up to 60 sq. ft. countertops slabs according to required procedures
Safely operate power equipment to cut, grind, and polish stone
Drive small to medium sized trucks to job sites
Communicate operating and care instructions to customers
Answer service calls to provide maintenance work for customers
Manage an organized daily schedule
Qualifications & Skills:
Acquire knowledge of the manufacturing industry
Possess general construction skills
Capable of performing standard measurements and basic math calculations
Ability to troubleshoot and communicate problems to provide solutions in a positive and professional manner
Ability to work extended hours as needed (late evenings, weekends)
Must be a quick learner and self-motivated worker that can operate independently and with a team to achieve company goals
Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including new construction sites, homes, commercial buildings, and office environments
Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence
Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check in accordance with Cambria's standards
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in the
construction industry
Systems: Basic computer skills preferred

Managerial Requirements: N/A
Physical Requirements: This position will require heavy lifting daily, up to 75
pounds. Must be able to stand, bend and twist
Travel Requirements: This position will require daily travel in company
installation truck to job sites, opportunity for special projects requiring overnight
travel up to a week.
Must hold a valid Driver's License from state of residence
Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check in accordance with Cambria's standards
Employees driving a company vehicle must be at least 23 years old and have at least 1 year of experience driving a passenger vehicle
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
