The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting comprehensive quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure all products meet established specifications, procedures, and customer requirements. This role also supports continuous improvement by identifying non‑conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and maintaining accurate quality documentation. The position may provide guidance and training to junior inspectors and performs specialized non‑destructive testing (NDT) using methods such as liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic inspection.
Responsibilities, Authorities and Accountabilities
Identify, document, and report non‑conformances in accordance with company procedures.
Support root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Complete, audit, and maintain all quality records, inspection reports, and related documentation.
Ensure timely distribution of quality documents to relevant departments.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality practices are implemented and consistently followed.
Recommend improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Provide direction, mentorship, and on‑the‑job training to less experienced inspectors.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance.
