Reports To: Reporting & Analytics Manager
Department: Commercial & Planning / Insights & Analytics
Location: Priory Park, Bedford/Hybrid
Salary: £45,000 + annual company performance related bonus up to 20% + 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays + private medical + employer pension contribution up to 10%
As a key member of our Reporting & Analytics team, you’ll help shape how the organisation understands and uses data—designing reports and dashboards that support smarter, faster decision‑making.

What You’ll Do
Build analytics that matter
- Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Power BI reports and dashboards that are intuitive, accurate and aligned to best practices in performance, usability, accessibility and security.
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions—turning requirements into data models, DAX measures and compelling visualisations.
Own trusted, scalable data models
- Develop and optimise semantic models in partnership with Data Engineering, ensuring consistency with enterprise modelling standards.
- Build reliable data transformations using Snowflake and Power Query, ensuring data is accurate, consistent and high‑performing.
- Apply data governance and row‑level security to keep our data compliant, protected and trustworthy.
Improve, optimise, innovate
- Test and validate reports to ensure quality, performance and a great user experience.
- Help streamline our reporting environment—retiring low‑value content, modernising legacy reporting and automating manual processes.
- Document everything clearly to support transparency, maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Be part of a collaborative, curious team
- Support colleagues by sharing knowledge, reviewing peer work and championing continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and bring new ideas to elevate our reporting capability.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working with large, complex datasets in a data insight or BI role.
- Strong Power BI development skills, including DAX, data modelling, workspace management and report design.
- Solid working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and data warehouse concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema).
- Experience with Snowflake, Power Query and ETL processes.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, simple messages that non‑technical stakeholders can act on.
- Strong communication, influencing and facilitation skills across departments and seniority levels.
- Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills.
- PL300 is highly desirable
