Inside Sales Specialist

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for working cooperatively with the sales team and assigned customers to deliver exceptional sales and customer support with the goal of growing sales while increasing customer satisfaction for all Regal Rexnord products and services under Marathon Special Products Brand. Contribute to overall team success by identifying current customer trends, orders and inquiries that promote the ease of doing business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieves defined sales objectives for assigned accounts

  • Engages in a team-based selling approach consisting of trust, respect, and open communication amongst field sales, customer service, and production teams

  • Establishes and maintains partnerships with new and existing customers by effectively applying the highest level of product knowledge related to the appropriate customer application to maximize sales opportunities

  • Delivers timely solutions to customers’ issues by proposing product and service changes or creating procedures for resolution

  • Works effectively in an intradepartmental environment to ensure transparency of information and cooperation among departments

  • Achieves measurable customer satisfaction scores by proactively addressing customer issues

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Identifies sales opportunities and utilizes a team-based selling approach to meet defined sales goals

  • Understands and practices strategic and partnership building skills to increase customer satisfaction and trust

  • Embraces industry practices and utilizes appropriate business tools to drive results

Customer Management Responsibilities:

  • Identify specific market trends and level of customer knowledge to strengthen partnerships and achieve long-term customer loyalty

  • Manages all customer issues to facilitate timely issue resolution

  • Manages administrative duties related to customer portals and ERP data management for customer orders

  • Respond to customer inquiries relating to pricing, lead time and delivery in support of Marathon Special Products’ profitability, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or other technical-based fields is beneficial but not required.

  • Minimum 2+ years in a customer service role within a production or manufacturing environment required.

  • Must understand purchase orders, shop floor processes, and basic logistics to support customers effectively.

  • Ability to translate production knowledge into customer support.

  • Customer-Facing and Sales Skills: Strong communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles. Some sales background is highly encouraged.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Above-average interpersonal skills with strong time management and organizational capabilities.

  • Experience with funnel management and Salesforce.com is a plus (not required).

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.

Compensation Details:  
$55,000 - $65,000
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
