Position Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for ensuring the renewal of existing service contracts for small/medium-sized financial institution customers, after the initial annuity contract sale and/or as an upselling activity. This role also handles any resulting queries that the customers may have about their existing service offerings and contracts.

As an Inside Sales Specialist you’ll be a member of the global renewal team reporting directly to the Regional Team Manager. You’ll have the opportunity to secure and expand the renewals business of NCR’s financial institution customer base, managing a high volume of customers while thriving in a fast-paced environment. This individual is self-motivated, proactive, and eager to partake in opportunities to expand their knowledge base of renewals and customer success. Some of the key internal teams you’ll will work closely with include Banking Sales & Channel, Billing, Installations and Customer Success to ensure on time renewal rates and revenue growth in your region. This is an exciting role selling some of NCR’s key service offerings.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Position is responsible for annuity maintenance services orders for the designated customers as assigned by management; Primary accountability of this role is the creation and submission of annuity service orders for new annuity services contracts, annuity services contract additions and annuity services contract renewals

  • Position is also responsible for cross-selling solution offerings for the designated customers as assigned by management. Requires strong account management and relationship building skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to maximize revenue and profitability

  • Work with a solution focused approach as a creative and resourceful team player; Provide accurate and consistent quoting to both internal and external customers

  • Be the internal voice of for your designated customers; Serve as liaison between the customer and other NCR internal teams with regards to issues for current customers, ensuring that all customer requirements are identified and met, to help ensure on time renewals and revenue growth in your region.

  • Attend regular calls with customers to review pricing and procedures, discuss customer-specific issues, review portfolio performance and NCR’s value, while positioning new solutions; Promote customer confidence in NCR

  • Recognize your customer's key challenges in their business and identify products and solutions to help overcome them; Provide guidance to customers on rectifying inefficient common practices and replacing them with industry standard best practices; Obtain customer and industry information that assists in responding to customer's needs and requirements; Identify possible areas of growth for other NCR business divisions

  • Understand competitive landscape; Identify NCR's major competitors for your designated customers, assess their solutions, and compare their strengths and weaknesses relative to NCR's

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • 1-3 years of related experience

  • Fluent in English

  • Proficiency in Excel advance skills, (i.e., v-look ups, filtering, etc.)

  • Ability to project manage individual issues, including engaging subject matter experts from various groups

  • Sound and comprehensive communications and diplomacy skills in order to exchange complicated information

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate cross functionally across the organization as well as externally with customers

  • Ability to work with teams in diverse functional areas with effective interpersonal skills necessary to build positive, productive, and effective professional working relationships
