MarketStar is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to support our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through a full-cycle sales motion. As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding the client base by identifying potential leads, engaging with prospects, and demonstrating the value of our partners' solutions. You will manage the entire sales process from initial lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for every customer.
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah - Hybrid
What Will You Do?
Manage a full-cycle sales process—from outbound prospecting to qualification, demo, negotiation, and closed-won.
Quickly identify, review, and disposition inbound leads; execute personalized, multi-channel outreach sequences aligned to the ideal candidate profile.
Consistently self-prospect to build pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, social engagement, and targeted list-building efforts.
Proactively set and manage appointments to advance prospects through the funnel.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and high-quality customer engagement.
Maintain accurate, timely CRM (Salesforce) data across all activities, ensuring pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and compliance with sales processes.
Serve as a product expert, deeply understanding features, value propositions, and customer use cases to effectively position the solution.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to share emerging insights, trends, and best practices that improve workflows and outcomes.
Commit to continuous learning and development by staying current on product updates, competitive landscape, and modern sales methodologies.
Work collaboratively with post-sales teams to support successful new customer onboarding.
Other related tasks as assigned.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
1+ years of experience in a quota-driven sales role; SaaS or tech sales preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, assess needs, and effectively convey complex information.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
Affinity for technology with strong proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office/Google Suite, and other sales-related tools; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
Ability to understand client needs and provide effective solutions to meet their business goals.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and tasks efficiently.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing market conditions and client requirements.
Receptive to coaching and feedback with an ability to adapt quickly to improve performance and outcomes.
