As part of our North American Commercial Team, you’ll help customers speed up scientific discovery. This work spans diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, clinical research, food safety, and manufacturing quality assurance.
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for Laboratory Informatics and Automation Solutions drives revenue growth by discovering, qualifying, and finalizing new business deals in specific territories. Responsibilities include laboratory software like LIMS, ELN, and data management systems, as well as automation and robotics systems that optimize laboratory operations.
You will work closely with Account Managers, Marketing, and Technical Specialists to qualify leads, manage inbound and outbound sales activities, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of laboratory informatics software and automation solutions, including laboratory robotics, workflow management systems, and integrated digital platforms.
Proactively manage the sales cycle—lead generation, qualification, discovery, and closure—across assigned territories.
Conduct outbound campaigns and follow up on inbound inquiries to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with Field Account Managers and Product Specialists to coordinate territory strategy, product demonstrations, and joint sales calls.
Maintain accurate sales activities and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRM.
Provide consultative mentorship to customers, aligning software capabilities with laboratory workflows and compliance needs.
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build strong customer relationships to develop dedication and long-term partnerships.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a scientific, engineering, or computer science field.
3–5 years of sales experience, ideally within software, SaaS, or laboratory informatics and automation solutions.
Proven success in outbound sales, pipeline development, and closing business remotely.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com and virtual engagement tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
Experience selling to scientific, technical, or IT collaborators is strongly preferred.

Ability to travel occasionally (up to 20%) for team meetings or customer visits.
Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
