The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts through proactive sales activities conducted remotely (phone, email, virtual meetings). This role focuses on customer retention, upselling, cross‑selling, and generating new revenue while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate account records.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Channel Revenue Growth

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned reseller accounts
  • Drive sales of technology products such as computer peripherals, servers, networking, storage, software licenses, cloud services, and cybersecurity solutions via outbound calls, emails and Ingram Micro own digital platforms
  • Identify upsell, cross‑sell, and refresh opportunities within existing accounts
  • Support deal registration, vendor programs, rebates, and promotions

Account Management

  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers as the primary point of contact
  • Understand customer needs, business challenges, and purchasing behaviour
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, customer support) to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and forecast revenue
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and credit terms
  • Coordinate with logistics, operations, finance, and credit control teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Maintain accurate customer data, deal status, and forecasts in CRM and ERP systems
  • Track sales pipeline, follow up on open opportunities, and close deals within target timelines

Product, Vendor & Market Knowledge

  • Maintain strong knowledge of vendor portfolios, SKUs, licensing models, and bundles
  • Stay updated on vendor programs, promotions, and incentive schemes
  • Monitor technology trends, competitor offerings, and channel market dynamics
  • Participate in vendor training, certifications, and internal sales enablement programs

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Min. a Diploma in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in inside sales, channel sales, or IT distribution (preferred)
  • Experience working with resellers, system integrators, or technology vendors is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and relationship‑management skills
  • Good understanding of technology sales cycles and channel distribution models
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and fast‑moving transactions
  • Commercially aware with basic understanding of margins, pricing, and rebates
  • Proficient in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
