We’re looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative to help drive and support business growth in the HVAC/R and Plumbing Wholesale Distribution sector. This role focuses on promoting our industry-leading engineered solutions to contractors, engineering firms, distributors and contractors. You’ll be instrumental in building relationships, generating demand, and supporting local distribution networks, manufacturer reps and field sales teams to expand our presence in the HVAC/R and Plumbing markets.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound inquiries from customers, distributors, and field sales regarding products, pricing, availability, tools, resources, etc.
  • Build strong relationships and drive sales
  • Collaborate with other members of the organization to provide excellent customer service, coordinating with departments such as, order management, product, logistics, fulfilment, tech support, and finance
  • Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, and technical product information.
  • Process/submit orders accurately and coordinate with production, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and execution
  • Maintain and update CRM records, tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Support outside sales representatives with many daily function and tasks
  • Provide product recommendations and solutions based on customer needs and application requirements.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues such as but not limited to, returns, warranty claims, shipping errors, damage, in a professional and timely manner.
  • Deliver training and product presentations that communicate the GE Appliances Air & Water value proposition.
  • Stay informed on product updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Work with all sales functions to meet and exceed sales targets

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience, ideally in the HVAC/R or Plumbing market. Background in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing systems is a strong asset. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM program), Social Media applications (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube,)

  • Attitude: Competitive and results-driven mindset with persistence in finding solutions to complex challenges.
  • Relationship Skills: Demonstrated ability to build rapport with contractors, distributors and field sales teams. A passion for customer service and long-term relationship development.
  • Professionalism & Organization: Strong communication, presentation and organization skills. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to navigate diverse customer environments.
