Inside Sales Engineer

Role Summary:

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you maintain and grow customer relationships, understand purchase agreements and market trends, and coordinate closely with Flowserve teams and channel partners to drive sales.

Your Role:

  • Achieve assigned booking targets.

  • Maintain regular communication with Italian customers.

  • Develop marketing plans aligned with regional sales goals.

  • Act as the primary customer contact for proposals, deliveries, repairs, and warranty matters.

  • Educate customers on product features and value.

  • Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and manufacturing teams.

  • Keep organized records, reports, quotes, and expenses.

  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

  • Fluent Italian and English.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred:

  • Experience with pumps, mechanical seals, and rotating equipment.

  • Knowledge of general, chemical, oil & gas industries and API 610.

  • Sales, negotiation, or business finance training.

  • Ability to conduct root-cause analysis.

  • Project management experience.
