Inpatient Telepharmacist (NY/OH/PA/WV License) - Evernorth

Join our team as a Telepharmacist and leverage technology to deliver exceptional clinical pharmacy services across multiple hospitals. In this role, you will collaborate with care teams, optimize medication therapy, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes—all from a remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telepharmacy services including remote order entry, verification, and clinical interventions to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Engage with clinicians to deliver timely drug information and therapeutic recommendations for complex patient needs.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital and PipelineRx policies while documenting all actions accurately in designated systems.
  • Support operational excellence by learning multiple pharmacy information systems and obtaining required state licenses.
  • Analyze medication variances and implement corrective actions to improve quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with training teams to onboard new clients and maintain proficiency in evolving telepharmacy practices.
  • Utilize technology tools and troubleshoot basic technical issues to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or PharmD).
  • Valid Pharmacist license in at least one state with ability to obtain multiple state licenses.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital inpatient experience.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (cable or fiber).
  • Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and commitment to patient safety.

Preferred:

  • Experience with telepharmacy platforms and remote clinical services.
  • Knowledge of formulary management and therapeutic policy development.
  • Ability to work across multiple states and healthcare systems with flexibility and adaptability.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 53 - 89 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
