The projects in which the candidate will be involved will relate to:
- Production support for designated manufacturing shifts including troubleshooting and disposition of finished ink and raw materials
- Scale up and optimization of new and existing manufacturing processes
- Initial production runs of new ink formulations
- Novel ink and ink raw materials characterization methods
The candidate will also be expected to:
- Safely handle chemicals and materials and maintain an orderly work area
- Become an expert on the current ink manufacturing process and equipment
- Conduct experiments, organize data, and draw conclusions based upon analysis
- Conduct experiments with process equipment and materials in order to improve cycle time and product performance
- Conduct experiments with characterization equipment in order to optimize test parameters and generate improved critical to quality metrics
- Manufacture various inks and pastes by following written procedures and generate and update procedures as needed
- Manage flow of parts and inks as required in support of ongoing test and development work
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or Sciences required
- Major in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related fields preferred
- Experience with safe handling of chemicals and materials
- Strong communication skills
Salary Ranges:
$82,000.00 - $118,000.00
