Ink Manufacturing Engineer

The projects in which the candidate will be involved will relate to:

  • Production support for designated manufacturing shifts including troubleshooting and disposition of finished ink and raw materials
  • Scale up and optimization of new and existing manufacturing processes
  • Initial production runs of new ink formulations
  • Novel ink and ink raw materials characterization methods

The candidate will also be expected to:

  • Safely handle chemicals and materials and maintain an orderly work area
  • Become an expert on the current ink manufacturing process and equipment
  • Conduct experiments, organize data, and draw conclusions based upon analysis
  • Conduct experiments with process equipment and materials in order to improve cycle time and product performance
  • Conduct experiments with characterization equipment in order to optimize test parameters and generate improved critical to quality metrics
  • Manufacture various inks and pastes by following written procedures and generate and update procedures as needed
  • Manage flow of parts and inks as required in support of ongoing test and development work

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or Sciences required
  • Major in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related fields preferred
  • Experience with safe handling of chemicals and materials
  • Strong communication skills

Salary Ranges:

$82,000.00 - $118,000.00
