Initiative Lead, Financial Health Team - 12m Secondment

ING Australia are looking to hire an Initiative Lead, Financial Health Program to join the COO in Sydney.

The Financial Health team is responsible for managing ING Australia’s teams working on financial hardship and collections activities with significant regulatory oversight. As the Initiative Lead for the Financial Health Program, you will work together with other experts to guide, support and execute the delivery of regulatory changes planned for Financial Health.
 

This is a key role representing the Financial Health team working on Financial Health strategic program. The role is responsible for the development and uplift of processes that may include hardship, collections and other business processes.

You will need to have expertise in all Financial Health processes and will help guide

development of solutions that provide an optimal customer experience whilst meeting Risk, Regulatory and overall ING targets.

What you’ll do
 

  • Provide input into the design and delivery of key regulatory initiatives/actions within the strategic program
  • Provide input into the design and delivery of multiple initiatives/actions in parallel in relation to the hardship and collections functions
  • Assist in interpreting and analysing business problems, being the Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • SME Business Lead for implementation of the new hardship system, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and change management
  • Contribute to sprint events using subject matter expertise and experience
  • Represent the Financial Health teams as the SME in stakeholder workshops to design optimal solutions for customers and efficient processes for internal teams, whilst adhering to regulatory requirements and obligations
  • Work with internal stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units
  • Lead the analysis and uplift of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Provide input into the roll out of training and business updates as required for the Financial Health Teams
     

What were looking for

  • 5+ work experience in Collections and/or Hardship teams
  • Degree in Business Management or Finance
  • SME experience working in projects/change/initiatives
  • Experience in retail banking or financial services, preferably mortgage lending
  • Proven experience in successful initiation and implementation of business process improvements and technology implementation
