We are looking for an EHS Engineer to join our team and help ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. In this role, you will be responsible for driving Environmental, Health & Safety programs at the site level, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across operations.
What you’ll do
Manage and administer Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs at site level
Ensure compliance with Mexican environmental and safety regulations (SEMARNAT, STPS, PROFEPA, etc.)
Support the implementation of EHS projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote and apply Clarios EHS standards and best practices
Lead training, awareness, and engagement activities for employees and contractors
Track and report EHS KPIs, audits, inspections, and corrective actions
Support incident investigations, risk assessments, and preventive actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed EHS into daily operations
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
Solid knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations
Experience managing EHS systems and programs in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to influence and drive a safety-first culture
Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
Nice to have
Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Experience with EHS audits, certifications, and compliance reporting
Familiarity with corporate or global EHS management systems
