Infrastructure Technical Project Manager

UMG is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Network Implementation Team as an Infrastructure TPM. This role is responsible for the project ownership and delivery of IT infrastructure initiatives and for managing the infrastructure components of application projects. The position requires strong project management, cross-IT coordination, business unit engagement, and vendor management to deliver seamless office migrations, network expansions, and ongoing infrastructure improvements.

Job Functions:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of global UMG infrastructure projects.

  • Oversee IT infrastructure aspects of office additions, migrations, and expansions.

  • Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes for hardware, software, and network circuits based on BOMs from engineering teams.

  • Develop and provide project budget estimates using standardized cost models.

  • Coordinate procurement, installation, and activation of IT infrastructure components.

  • Liaise with business units to gather requirements for office expansions and technology rollouts.

  • Serve as the primary facilitator and conduit between business stakeholders and IT organizations.

  • Schedule and coordinate implementation activities across multiple IT teams and vendors.

  • Support network and infrastructure engineering teams with project timelines and execution plans.

  • Manage project documentation, status reporting, and budget tracking.

  • Perform on-site implementation work and after-hours activities as needed to support delivery timelines.

  • Undertake other related tasks as required to ensure successful project outcomes.

Job Requirements:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Project Management certification preferred.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Solid understanding of purchasing and billing processes.

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-year infrastructure projects.

  • Experience with project management platforms, preferably Monday.com.

  • Knowledge of network and cloud technologies is a plus.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Highly organized, capable of multitasking, and effective at prioritizing deliverables.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of overall IT experience, including at least 2 years in implementation or project management.

  • At least 1 year of experience leading large, multi-organizational projects.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing vendor relationships, including quoting, purchasing, and billing processes.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with project management tools (Monday.com preferred).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
