Te Tūranga – About The Role
Are you ready to lead a high-performing, customer-focused IT operations team to deliver world-class infrastructure services? As our Infrastructure Operations Team Lead at Foodstuffs North Island, you’ll be at the heart of our technology, ensuring smooth, seamless operations and supporting an entire organization to achieve its best!
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll inspire a team dedicated to delivering top-tier operational outcomes. You’ll be the glue between infrastructure and business goals, owning the performance of services that keep our operations running smoothly 24/7. From guiding incident resolutions to managing service levels and handling both insourced and outsourced teams, you’ll empower a culture of collaboration, resilience, and high achievement.
Your Day-to-Day Includes:
- Leading with Vision: Drive a culture of high performance and accountability, ensuring your team meets all customer requirements and consistently surpasses expectations.
- Solving Real-Time Issues: Take charge of day-to-day operational challenges, keeping stakeholders informed and driving efficient resolution for any incidents that arise.
- Delivering Results: Ensure your team’s KPIs are always on-point, motivating them to achieve operational excellence together.
- Managing the Roadmap: Own the Infrastructure Roadmap, including lifecycle management, resource allocation, and financial control to deliver services that support the business and innovate IT processes.
- Strategizing for Success: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to keep priorities aligned and maintain a flexible, agile approach that meets business needs.

- Infrastructure Expertise – From Citrix to Active Directory, you’re comfortable with the technical landscape and bring experience in medium-to-large enterprises, ideally in customer-focused or retail environments.
- Curiosity & Innovation – You’re always looking for what’s possible, embracing a “never settle” mentality that challenges the status quo.
- Financial Acumen – You’re commercially savvy, balancing budgets and delivering value-driven IT support that makes a real impact.
