This role leads the design, development, and ongoing support of clinical technology solutions for the Cronos business unit. The position partners closely with Clinical, Operations, and IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant data systems that support clinical study workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Lead Developer, overseeing the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of custom and configurable applications.
  • Apply technical expertise and domain knowledge to build solutions that support clinical data study workflows.
  • Program, test, and document systems in alignment with coding standards, enterprise security requirements, and system validation procedures.
  • Develop and maintain data integration workflows, including ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Identify system or workflow inconsistencies and proactively present solutions to Clinical and Operations stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the creation, revision, and maintenance of SOPs, work instructions, and system documentation.
  • Support the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables, ensuring assigned objectives are met.
  • Mentor team members to strengthen technical, database, and application development capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong communication channels and working relationships with internal teams and external clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Required experience with Microsoft M365 technologies, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Preferred experience with ServiceNow or other IT service management platforms.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with system development and issue‑tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.
  • Experience working within cross‑functional delivery teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
