Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Lead with strong end-to-end expertise across AWS architecture, governance, and automation. This individual should have deep hands-on experience operating in enterprise-scale, multi-account AWS environments and a strong understanding of how networking, IAM, security, logging, automation, and platform services integrate into a cohesive cloud strategy.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of infrastructure or cloud experience, including 8+ years of enterprise AWS experience. They must demonstrate strong knowledge of AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Account Factory for Terraform (AFT), Terraform workspaces, IAM governance (roles, permission sets, SCPs), and AWS security services such as Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, and GuardDuty. This role requires a broad architectural mindset rather than narrow domain expertise.

We are looking for a technical leader who can guide engineers, troubleshoot cross-domain issues, support landing zone evolution, and drive multi-account cloud strategy. The right candidate understands AWS deeply across multiple pillars and can translate architectural principles into practical implementation guidance for the team.

What you will be responsible for

  • Define and evolve multi-account AWS strategy using Organizations and Control Tower
  • Guide and oversee AFT account provisioning and customization frameworks
  • Design and review Terraform architecture, modules, and workspace structures
  • Define IAM governance models including roles, permission sets, SCPs, and permission boundaries
  • Provide architectural oversight across networking, security, and platform services
  • Support and guide implementation of Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, and centralized logging
  • Review and approve infrastructure code and design decisions
  • Lead troubleshooting of complex cross-account and cross-service issues
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure audit readiness
  • Mentor and guide distributed engineering teams
  • Drive automation standards and infrastructure-as-code best practices
  • Support landing zone enhancements and cloud platform modernization initiatives
  • Participate in incident resolution and high-priority production escalations
  • Optimize cloud networking (VPC, subnets, Direct Connect, CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, Route 53) for hybrid and multi-region environments.
  • Implement security best practices using AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS KMS, WAF, AWS Config).
  • Enforce least privilege access (IAM, SCPs, VPC security groups, NACLs) and automate compliance checks.
  • Document architecture, design decisions, and best practices in Confluence and JIRA.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
  • 15+ years of infrastructure or cloud experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on AWS enterprise experience
  • 4–5+ years of advanced Terraform experience
  • 2–3+ years working with AWS Control Tower and AFT
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (strongly preferred)
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (preferred)
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty (preferred)
  • Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for based on industry standards.
  • Well versed with AWS foundational constructs around Compute, Networking, Security and Storage
  • Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
  • Extensive experience with AWS security tools, including: Security Hub, GuardDuty,Config, IAM & IAM Identity Center Detective
  • Extensive experience with Terraform and cloud automation – is must
  • Deep expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, CloudWAN, Route 53, security groups, NACLs).

Additional requirements

  • No Hybrid Working. It is fully Working from Office
  • Schedule – 3 pm to 12 am IST
  • Location – Bangalore or Hyderabad
