Job Title
AWS Platform Engineer - AVP
Job Description
Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Lead with strong end-to-end expertise across AWS architecture, governance, and automation. This individual should have deep hands-on experience operating in enterprise-scale, multi-account AWS environments and a strong understanding of how networking, IAM, security, logging, automation, and platform services integrate into a cohesive cloud strategy.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years of infrastructure or cloud experience, including 8+ years of enterprise AWS experience. They must demonstrate strong knowledge of AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Account Factory for Terraform (AFT), Terraform workspaces, IAM governance (roles, permission sets, SCPs), and AWS security services such as Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, and GuardDuty. This role requires a broad architectural mindset rather than narrow domain expertise.
We are looking for a technical leader who can guide engineers, troubleshoot cross-domain issues, support landing zone evolution, and drive multi-account cloud strategy. The right candidate understands AWS deeply across multiple pillars and can translate architectural principles into practical implementation guidance for the team.
