Responsibilities
Implement, manage, and monitor patch management policies and procedures to ensure effective protection from vulnerabilities.
Oversee the configuration management of Windows Servers (2016-2022) and Windows Enterprise (10, 11), ensuring optimal performance and compliance with standards.
Develop scripts and automation tools using PowerShell and/or Python to streamline system management processes.
Maintain and administer Active Directory, Advanced Group Policy Management, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.
Manage TLS certificates and ensure secure system communications.
Troubleshoot complex system issues across Windows and RHEL platforms, leveraging advanced understanding of system logs and diagnostic techniques.
Work with development teams to manage code versions and maintain repositories effectively using Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps (AzDo) pipelines.
Configure and maintain system management tools such as SCCM, Intune, Auto Patch, and Ansible for automated system updates and configurations.
Collaborate with teams across the organization to share knowledge and assist in training efforts to ensure best practices in IT management.
Qualifications
Minimum 12 years relevant experience in appropriate technology domain
Experience in maintaining multiple platforms
Experience in platform performance tuning and optimization to ensure optimal resource utilization and maximum efficiency
Subject Matter Expertise on three (3) or more platforms in appropriate technology domain
Mastery in organization and time management skills with proven track record of meeting various deadlines
Mastery in written and verbal presentation skills alongside strong data interpretation and visualization skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address intricate platform-related challenges and implement effective solutions
Ability to plan, design, implement, and maintain systems across multiple platforms
Advanced skills troubleshooting issues across multiple platforms
Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
Ability to utilize industry standard project management, work management, and reporting software
Analytical mindset, focused on results with critical thinking, research and problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in organization and time management skills with proven track record of meeting various deadlines
Proficiency in ITIL tools, such as ServiceNOW
Proficiency in managing and configuring Windows Server 2016-2022 and Windows 10, 11 environments.
Expertise in scripting with PowerShell and/or Python.
Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and network services management.
Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, Azure Entra AD, Intune, and Auto Patch.
Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
Understanding of TLS certificates and secure communication protocols.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative spirit and a focus on knowledge sharing.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog.
Experience using REST APIs for automation.
