As our Information Systems Network Manager, you'll be responsible for the quality and availability of the infrastructure that enablesTrimble's GNSS precise positioning products, which serve hundreds of thousands of customers in traditional markets like surveying, construction, and agriculture, as well as new markets like autonomous driving and IoT. You'll work closely with our engineering, security, and product management teams, forging strong partnerships that ensure the quality and attractiveness of our GNSS precise positioning products. Your visionary leadership will drive the technical strategy for how we produce and operate our products, all while championing reliability and efficiency.
You'll lead an experienced team of talented engineers, fostering a culture where innovation and excellence thrive. Your role is about providing day-to-day technical guidance, strategic direction and building a collaborative environment. You trust your team to deliver on the hands-on implementation of on-prem and cloud environments necessary for the delivery of our real-time products.
Infrastructure & Operations: Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of all IT infrastructure, including networks (LAN/WAN, VPN), servers (on-premise and cloud).
People Management: Lead talent acquisition, employee development, and retention, while fostering a collaborative environment where team members are empowered to take ownership, drive change, and prioritize well-being.
Financial Management: Strategically managing the NetOps IT budget, optimizing costs, evaluating investments, and overseeing procurement to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with business objectives and Trimble values.
Strategic Business Engagement: Provide technical and strategic expertise for projects, pre-sale activities, and contracts, aiming to achieve key business objectives based on company and sector strategies.
Resilience: Be a leader with a proven ability to define and execute future-proof IT strategies, drive digital transformation, and architect scalable solutions for continuous improvement.
Service Operations: Ensure the security, integrity, availability, and quality of Trimble's GNSS correction services and related software products.
Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in a service operations, data engineering, or similar leadership role.
IT Architecture Expertise: High-level understanding of IT architecture, traditional on-premise server stacks, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure).
Strong understanding of industry best practices as it pertains to Cyber Security and Compliance standards.
Team Leadership: 5+ years of people leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing technical teams.
Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively across diverse technical and business teams.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
