Job Summary: This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity, Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with plans, policies, standards, architecture, infrastructures that establish the framework for the management of Information Technology policy and planning applications. The incumbent provides 0coordination of Information Technology policy and planning across multiple divisions within their own Directorate.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: You may qualify at the GS -13 , if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Experience using product, project, program and technical skills in the provision of overall direction and guidance for the development, acquisition, testing, product improvement and fielding of assigned systems. Review and implement IT program formulation, planning, deployment, and execution of technology. Communicates program strategies, goals and status to stakeholders, management and higher-level leadership. Defines the product strategy and roadmap You may qualify at the GS -14 , if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Lead product, project, program and technical skills in the provision of overall direction and guidance for the development, acquisition, testing, product improvement and fielding of assigned systems. Provides continuous oversight of IT program formulation, planning, deployment, and execution of technology. Oversees briefings that contain program strategies, goals and status to stakeholders, management and higher-level leadership. Defines the product strategy and roadmap. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
