The Northrop Grumman Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) team is seeking a Information Systems Project Manager to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems support team in Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports; ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards, or implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Analyze business performance and produce reports and artifacts for program management and senior leadership.

  • Support asset and financial management, change management, service desk operations, innovation and customer satisfaction initiatives, and procurement activities.

  • Promote and implement project management best practices for Chief Information and Digital Office value-focused program execution.

  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, develop and execute mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate meetings and lead discussions across cross-functional and integrated product teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience is required

  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain a US Government Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment

  • Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance; maintaining active SAP/SAR status is a condition of continued employment as determined by customer and program needs

  • 2 years of experience managing cost, budgets, and schedules

  • Experience with Microsoft business suite

  • Working knowledge of process/project documentation and/or liaison interfacings for large enterprise organizations.

  • Technical knowledge of IT Infrastructures (networking, server, storage, desktops, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Project Management, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering (or similar STEM related discipline) is preferred

  • Active US Government Secret, Top Secret, SCI, Polygraph, or SAP/SAR access would be nice to have

  • Familiarity with Northrop Grumman business, government customers, and government programs

  • Experience with project management tools (Atlassian, ServiceNow, Tableau, etc.)

  • Scripting experience to automate program tools

  • Agile Experience

  • Broad background in IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity requirements, Business Applications, and IT operations.

  • Ability to perform risk and opportunity analysis

  • Demonstrate customer-focused mindset with proven leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strong record of collaboration in a matrix organization.

  • Self-starter who works quickly and effectively, can get up to speed with program processes quickly, and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
