Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal IT Asset Management Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the administration of software licenses, hardware inventory, asset management, and technical service contracts, to include developing and maintaining a comprehensive software license information tracking system to ensure compliance with security and legal requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of acquisition processes and comfort operating in a complex and high tempo environment.
Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate accountability of software license compliance across the software development environment, including network applications, server OS, databases, and workstation software.
- Ensure adherence to Cyber Operations Policy and Procedures
- Periodically conduct a complete review of system audits and monitor license status touching multiple acquisition sources, license models, and accounting categories
- Coordinate actions within a wide range of stakeholders and product owners
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in Information Technology, Acquisition, and/or related experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Information Technology, Acquisition, and/or related experience OR PhD with 1 year of experience in Information Technology, Acquisition, and/or related experience
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs, prior to the start of employment, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company, to meet its business need
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Products such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and/or Project.
- Must have demonstrated experience communicating with a diverse set of stakeholders, product owners, customers, and business management organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with complex networks or enterprise IT systems with multiple domains
- Familiarity with license management tools such as FlexLM, Solarwinds, and Atlassian
- Current Program Access
- Documented training and certification in software asset management, such as IAITAM CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification, such as Security+ CE or equivalent
- Understanding of enterprise-level computing platforms involving virtualization, distribution and high availability
- Experience with tools to manage storage allocation, reclamation, replication and migration
- Ability to investigate complex software usage models and work across multiple stakeholders to ensure regulatory and legal compliance
- General understanding of various OS environments including Linux and Windows.
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
