Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Level 3 ISSE to join our growing team!

This opportunity offers the chance to join an exciting team providing Information System Security Engineer solutions to a challenging and dynamic IC customer in the Chantilly area. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for conducting IS security engineering activities throughout the system development/acquisition lifecycles. 
• Responsible for capturing and refining information protection requirements to ensure their integration into IS acquisitions and IS development through purposeful security design or configuration. 
• Integrates security functional requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables using systems engineering principles and methodologies.  
• Coordinate activities with A & A stake-holders and shall be knowledgeable of Analytics/Metrics tools to identify trends and patterns across the Enterprise.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience, with additional education able to count in lieu of years of experience and additional years of experience able to count in lieu of a degree. Potential for flexibility on this requirement, pending Customer approval.
• Active IAT Level III Certification

What Desired Skills You Might Bring:

• Knowledge of and experience with ICD 503 and the Government’s certification and accreditation process; Networks, computer components, system protocols, and COTS technology; System methodologies including: client/server, web hosting, web content servers, policy servers, directory servers, firewalls, WAN, MAN, LAN, switches, and routers; Software integration of COTS and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) products; VMware, Xen, Hyper V and other virtualization platforms
• Configuring and supporting, at a minimum, Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS;
• Configuring and supporting, at a minimum, VMware, Xen, Hyper V;
• Software engineering
• Program design and implementation
• Configuration management
• System maintenance
• Integration testing
• Information system engineering.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
