The Information Security Team Lead provides direction to the Identity Access Security team in support of the Bank’s guidelines for the establishment and modification of employee access to authorized systems based on the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) criteria. Responsible for evaluating access to all systems, establishes, and modifies access to authorized systems in RBAC system. Leads the Identity Access Security team in overall department initiatives.
What you will do:
Responsible for establishing access to all systems as guided by the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) criteria. Ensures new and transferred employees access is properly set up; terminates access for separated employees. Reviews work of team to ensure assessment and access set-up is correct; coaches team members on guidelines and protocol to consider when performing their job.
Trains and assists team members on issues and leads team in overall department initiatives. Contributes input on performance discussions and annual reviews of less experience staff. Allocates workload and special assignments.
Interacts with internal IT staff and external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues such as compatibility of applications and networking. Acts as liaison with the user to resolve those issues.
Works with system owners on upgrades and annual review to ensure functionality is adequate or consideration should be given to new functionality; also reviews access rights. Audits more complex upgrades to applications.
Evaluates new applications to determine the adequacy of controls, such as complex passwords, lockouts, etc. consistent with Bank standards. Works with vendors and Bank departments for necessary changes.
Advises department managers on systems access requirements.
Keeps informed on new laws and regulations that affect information security, business continuity, and vendor management.
Other related job task assigned.
Who you are:
3 years of related experience required.
Advanced ability to diagnose and troubleshoot accessibility issues.
Analytical ability to assess risks, adequacy of controls, and impact upon business processes.
Thorough knowledge of systems applications access logic for a wide variety of applications.
Knowledge of the Bank’s organizational and job structures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, presentation) to result in effective working relationships/great customer service with internal and external contacts.
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and the ability to provide guidance in the establishment of support processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to result in effective working relationship with other Information Security & MB Client team members. Good working knowledge of Bank network environments or similar environments from previous work experience.
Familiarity with tracking and reporting tools.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing, evaluating and making decisions about subordinates in a team lean position.

(ISC)2 - Systems Security Certified Practitioner
CompTIA A+

Pay Range: $70,304 - 85,000 annually
AIP/Bonus: up to 10%
