Role Description
- This will require someone with a strong work ethic, technical IT background, a passion for cyber security as well as analytical skills. As a Security Problem Manager, you will pick up Security Problems identified during Security Incidents, Red-Team Exercises and other sources. You will conduct root causes analysis and drive their remediation in close collaboration with various stakeholders across the Chief Security Office, Technology, Data & Information and Business functions. You will conduct Lessons Learned for Security Incidents or propose threat detection and automation enhancement to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Security Incident Management process.

The chosen candidate will work within Deutsche Bank’s global Information Security Problem Management team in the Chief Security Office, Information Security Threat Operations, Advanced Cyber Defense.

Your key responsibilities
- Should be able to handle multiple tasks with careful attention to detail
- Must be capable of working under pressure and with multiple teams across the globe/time zones
- Ability to work proactively and dynamically
- Effective problem-solving skills to quickly narrow down to problems
- Good team player, but also strong character to enforce the resolution of discovered IT Security issues
Your skills and experience
- Experience in technical or operational information security roles for a minimum of 3 years, for example in:
- Threat Detection (Security Event logs, Splunk, Sentinel, Google Security Operations)
- Threat Response (Security Analyst or Incident Manager in a Security Operation Center)
- Network security (Web Gateways, Proxies, Firewalls, email security etc.)
- Cloud security (Google Cloud / Cloud Amor, Microsoft Entra/Azure etc.)
- Microsoft security (Microsoft XDR, Active Directory, Windows Clients and Servers)
- Application security (asset penetration testing, vulnerability scanning etc.)
- Information security risk management (compliance and risk assessments, audit coordination)
- IT Incident, IT Problem Management or IT Lessons Learned process
- Knowledge in latest cyber threats, security trends and their effect on large corporate technology environments
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
Certifications
- University degree in Information Technology, Information Security or comparable
- SANS (GIAC), Microsoft Security or Google Security certification are a plus.
