Job Description Summary:
Position Overview:
An IT/OT Intern (information Technology / Operational Technology Intern) supports the convergence of traditional business computing (IT) with industrial automation and control systems (OT) in manufacturing
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Provide best of Industry 4.0 initiatives and new technology upgrades at manufacturing sites
Perform quantitative analysis on production data to identify trends and recommend production efficiency improvements
Maintain inventory of IT/OT hardware and documentation, including technical manuals and network diagrams
Experiment / Support the design, prototyping, and testing of machine learning models for specific use cases in industrial automation
Contribute to building analytical dashboards for monitoring model performance and operational efficiency.
Education Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, or Engineering
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025.
Related Work Experience:
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, industrial control systems, or cloud infrastructure is often preferred
Functional Skills:
Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, IP, firewalls, and routing to manage the flow of information between office and Exposure to Python for data analysis and building AI/ML models, as well as familiarity with Java or C++ for system integration
Knowledgeable in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or SQL) and familiarity with common operating systems
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams like Engineering and Quality
Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $4,506
Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066
