Information Architect

We’re looking for an Information Architect to join us at Telia.
 

I’m Åsa Boffardi, Head of Business Intelligence, and I am searching for someone to join our data-driven and ambitious team at Telia Sweden B2B. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking organization focused on driving performance management and sales development.

What you’ll do:

As Information Architect, you will be a key part of the Business Intelligence & Analytics team within B2B Operational Excellence & Transformation. The team will be responsible for business intelligence, AI and analytics and have the business ownership of CRM, Analytics and MarTech tools and solutions. The teams’ overall goal is to ensure “one truth” and information transparency, securing the underlying information models, tools, analytics and AI needed to enable the organization to become truly data driven.

As Information Architect you will be a key interface between the business and IT. This is not a technical implementation role, and you will not build pipelines or configure systems. Your responsibility is to define, govern and drive adoption of a business-level information model and terminology that guides how data is structured, interpreted and used across the organization.

You will be responsible for securing the information model and terminology that the business needs, across products, processes, channels and solutions, enabling information transparency and “one truth”. This information model will guide and be used when implementing processes and solutions as well as aggregating and cross-referencing data in analyses and performance reporting. The actual solutioning and implementation in systems will be handled by the IT organization or similar units, the core of this role is to define and implement a coordinated information model and terminology from a business perspective and drive its adaptation across channels, processes and solutions.

In this position you will:

• Develop a structured information model and terminology that will allow the organization to become data driven based on “one truth” and secure its adaptation and implementation
• Create information transparency and enable data driven decision making
• Consult with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure alignment and prioritization across customer expectations, business needs and operational efficiency
• Cooperate with Business Architect, Process Managers, Data Scientists, Business Management and Sales Operations with IT as key interfaces for implementation and integration.

To succeed in this role, you have a strong business acumen and the ability to create clarity in a complex eco system. You are comfortable taking ownership in ambiguous environments and creating structures where none exists. You can challenge existing definitions and practices in a constructive, fact-based way, and you are able to balance long-term information integrity with short-term business needs. As a person you have a strong drive to standardize and simplify and are a strong communicator with the ability to drive change.

Required:

• Proven experience in information modelling from a business perspective
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements on IT architecture and solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and change-driving capabilities
• Fluency in Swedish and English
   

Strongly beneficial:

• Experience from B2B, telecom, or other complex, product- and process-heavy environments
• Experience working with CRM, analytics, or performance management contexts
• Experience defining “one truth” models across multiple domains and channels
