Hiring: Informatica ETL Developer

We’re looking for Informatica ETL Developer to join us at Telia!

I am Virginija Patackienė, Hiring Manager, and I am leading SAP Finance & Analytics Solutions team at Telia Group IT. I am looking forward to strengthening our team to help us out with all the exciting work we do!

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data integration solutions using Informatica to enable reliable, compliant, and high-quality data flows into SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on billing data models and IFRS15 revenue recognition requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Informatica-based ETL and data integration solutions supporting billing and finance processes.
  • Ensure data processing aligns with IFRS15 revenue recognition principles, including completeness, accuracy, and auditability.
  • Monitor and support daily data loads, batch processing, and interfaces; proactively identify and resolve data quality or performance issues, maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into target databases (SAP S/4HANA)
  • Take ownership of Informatica-related incidents (minor, major, and critical), ensuring resolution in line with agreed OLAs; perform root cause analysis and documentation.
  • Deliver minor to medium-sized enhancements to data models, mappings, workflows and transformations in response to business and regulatory changes.
  • Support testing activities (UT, SIT, UAT) and participate in go-live and hypercare support.
  • Maintain technical documentation, data models, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data integration reliability, performance, and data quality controls.
  • Operate according to ITIL practices, change management standards, and agile delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe), using tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders: SAP functional and technical teams, ABAP developers, Solution Architects and Service Managers.

What will help you thrive in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong experience in ETL development, workflows, data integration, and data transformation.
  • Strong experience in SQL, writing complex joins, subqueries, procedures, triggers.
  • Experience in Shell scripting.
  • Experience in native tools of Informatica Power Center: Designer, Workflow, Monitor, Repositories.
  • Experience working with complex data models, preferably related to billing, finance, or revenue data.
  • Experience delivering data to SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
  • Experience working in operational environment, familiarity in ITIL-based support models and service management processes.
  • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, compliance-aware mindset.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with finance users, data architects, and technical teams.
  • Flexibility to support business-critical incidents outside regular working hours when necessary.

Monthly salary range for this position – 4300 – 6400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses.  Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
