About the Role

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Inforce Management
Location: Hochiminh City
Function: Finance & Actuarial | Department: Actuarial

Learning Outcomes

  • Deep knowledge in Insurance industry as well as Actuarial career
  • Understanding AIA’s insurance products and inforce management process

    Description

    • Reinsurance reporting
      - Calculate reinsurance premiums/commissions/claim recoverables monthly
      - Prepare settlement with reinsurers
      - Perform monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement reconciliation regarding reinsurance cashflows
    • Support UL and Pension crediting rate declaration
    • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any) and support other members on business task

    Qualifications

    • Education: bachelor’s degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics.
    • Experience: prior Actuarial/ Finance internship is preferred.
    • Skills (technical skill):
      - Basic knowledge of Prophet, able to set up runs and read codes
      - Knowledge in VBA, Python, SQL, or R.
      - Experience working with Microsoft packages
    • Will (soft skill):
      - English fluency is necessary for this position.
      - Good communication and presentation skills, team player, organized and punctual.
