Parsons offers an internship program and are seeking highly motivated focused on all areas across the Infrastructure and Transportation sectors to join our internship program.
Our interns are gaining hands-on experience, expanding their knowledge, and growing their network during their time with as us, as well as receiving access to events for their professional development and curated mentorship. As part of our internship program, interns aren’t just here to learn what we do — they're here to contribute to our culture, elevate their careers, and imagine next with us. With providing an exceptional experience for our interns. The program consists of multi subjects and will be conducted for the period required from your educational institution.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Observe information security and IT team members as they perform monitoring, analysis, and incident response activities
- Learn to use basic security tools and systems under guidance
- Shadow team members in security reviews, meetings, and discussions to understand workflows and decision-making
- Assist with simple, supervised tasks such as organizing security logs, updating basic documentation, or preparing simple reports
- Learn how to read and interpret security policies, procedures, and technical documentation
- Observe vulnerability assessments, security checks, and troubleshooting activities to understand methods and best practices
- Assist in maintaining inventory and basic records of user access, assets, and security-related documentation under supervision
- Ask questions and seek feedback to deepen understanding of information security concepts and processes
- Follow all company information security policies, guidelines, and confidentiality requirements
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Basic understanding of information security or networking concepts
- Familiarity with common productivity tools
- Participation in academic projects, labs, or cybersecurity/IT clubs
- Exposure to basic IT or security tools (e.g., antivirus, basic network tools, or lab environments)
