Summary of Primary Functions: Assist in production of concrete product from subassemblies and raw material. Perform form cleaning, form oiling, reinforcing set-up, form set-up, concrete pouring & finishing, and work area clean up, etc. Must be able to follow defined work plan and details.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

  • Follow specifics and details of working procedure for job as defined in the work plan for the work center and for each man in the work plan.

  • Clean form with tools to remove all concrete buildup on forms prior to the next pour.

  • Perform form oiling with oil sprayer on cleaned form surfaces prior to pouring.

  • Grease pins and movable parts prior to pouring.

  • Make minor adjustments to forming equipment for proper operation.

  • Set-up, tie and spacing of reinforcing for standard product per reinforcing details.

  • Perform concrete pouring, vibrating, shoveling, and finishing of standard products.

  • Repair and patch all concrete products that do not meet design specifications.

  • Clean up work area of concrete spillage and other trash material.


Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Certificates, Licenses, Registration: May need license to operate concrete delivery truck.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
