Industrial Security Representative

The National Security Sector’s Decision Advantage Solutions Business Area at Leidos Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security Representative (ISR) to work in our Orlando, FL facility. The position will be part of the Leidos National Security Sector combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities for defense and intel customers in the areas of cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. As one of the five Business Areas in the National Security Sector, Decision Advantage Solutions accelerates the production, integration, and analysis of multi-domain mission data to deliver a decisive edge for customers engaged in intelligence operations and combat support.

The Industrial Security Representative (ISR) supports the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in safeguarding classified information, sensitive materials, and organizational assets in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM). Responsibilities include managing clearance processes, foreign visitor and facility access, special access programs, and ensuring adherence to federal laws and directives for classification management. The ISR develops and implements security policies, conducts briefings and debriefings, and may be appointed as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) based on program needs.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist the FSO in implementing and managing the facility’s security program in compliance with NISPOM, 
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for security operations.
• Conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. 
• Manage personnel security processes, including nomination interviews, validation of access requirements, and submission of investigative requests.
• Conduct security education and training briefings, including initial indoctrination, annual refresher training, and termination briefings, emphasizing unauthorized disclosure awareness and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records in security databases such as the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or equivalent systems.
• Support the management of Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) areas, including co-utilization agreements and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct Personnel Security processing actions including requesting, reviewing, approving, and submitting clearances packages up to and including Program Access Requests (PARs) and SCI nomination packages in accordance with customer requirements. 
• Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to ensure seamless communication and compliance with COMSEC requirements.
• Investigate and report security violations, compromises, and unauthorized disclosures in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with government and industry partners to ensure compliance with security requirements and best practices.
• Work as a team player, demonstrate flexibility, and excellent organizational skills.

• Compliance-minded – Has experience with applicable policies, standards, laws, and rules, to include interpreting and applying against customer requirements to resolve security issues.
• Clear Communication – Is able to write and speak in a clear, concise, effective manner to a wide variety of audiences, including writing complex reports and displaying active listening skills.
• Customer Relationship Management – Proven track record as a self-starter and experience building partnerships while understanding customers’ mission, vision, and issues and prioritizing work accordingly.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in SCIF / SAPF administration policies and procedures
• Thorough understanding of DoD personnel security requirements and ability to apply Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, DoDM 5205.07, and NISPOM guidance to the facility’s security plans and procedures. 
• Possess knowledge of Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems
• Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations
• Experience conducting TS indoctrinations and refresher briefings, as appropriate
• Experience supporting a COMSEC program
• Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications
• Accreditation/certifications as a Facility Security Officer or Communication Security (COMSEC)
• Experience drafting subcontractor DD254s
• Experience developing and implementing security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans 
• Professional Industrial Security Affiliations
• Resourceful in solving programs and capitalizing on opportunities
• Experience with SCIF construction
• Strong Customer Service Experience Background

Pay Range:

Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
