At our Kilkeel Facility, we manufacture aircraft interior seating for global customers. To support our existing business and enable future growth we are offering 2 12-month Industrial Placement opportunities to join our Supply Chain team. The role will be based on site at Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.
What you will do:
You will be allocated specific tasks which support key improvement activities currently taking place within this function. Supported by our experienced team you will:
Organise and co-ordinate supply chain events e.g. value engineering, vendor managed inventory etc.
Support new product introduction activities
Work closely with the commodity team
Provide input to the strategic commodity strategies
Provide administration support in day-to-day activities within the Supply Chain/ Logistics team
What you will learn:
This placement offers the opportunity to gain real hands-on experience within an aerospace manufacturing supply chain environment and understand how materials, suppliers and logistics support aircraft production.
Skills and Experience Required:
This Industrial Placement opportunity is suited to you if you are passionate about a career in Supply Chain. We will delight in training and supporting you during your placement which means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a team.
Essential Criteria:
In addition to the above you should be studying towards a degree or integrated master's in Supply Chain, Engineering or a Business-related discipline - with a significant Supply Chain/Logistics component - and be available to complete a 12-month placement commencing in June/July 2026.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have experience working within a team environment. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous substantial relevant work experience in a Supply Chain environment
6 months previous experience working in an administrator role.
