Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking an Industrial Painter to join our Manufacturing Team. The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal components in a light industrial fabrication environment. This role involves mixing and matching paints to required specifications, operating spray guns and spray foam equipment, and applying coatings with precision to ensure durability and a high‑quality finish. The Industrial Painter will follow safety and environmental guidelines, maintain equipment, and work closely with production teams to meet quality standards and project timelines.

Schedule:
1st Shift , 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
2nd Shift , 4:00pm-2:30am with OT as necessary
Location: Train in High Point, NC and eventually move to new facility in Asheboro, NC
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare paint surfaces
Mix paint
Operate and maintain industrial paint booths
Operate and maintain spray guns and other equipment
Apply spray foam insulation
Maintain spray foam equipment
Use respirator daily during work activities
Follow all safety policies and procedures
RCRA, HAZWOPER certifications a plus
Auto body painting experience a plus
Education:
This Position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or related experience in Industrial/Automotive Painting as determined by the plant manager.
Job Requirements/Special Skills:
Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
Auto Body painting experience a plus
Good verbal communication skills with employees

Ability to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary
Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
