Job Description:
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for playing a crucial role in enhancing our operations, analyzing complex systems, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing innovative solutions that drive productivity and cost savings.
Primary Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement:
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for
improvement
• Design and implement efficient production workflows to maximize
productivity
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resource
utilization
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of processes,
procedures, and standards
• Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process flow analysis
• Identify opportunities for automation or technological advancements
in manufacturing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous
improvement initiatives
• Provide training and guidance to production personnel on best
practices
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend action plans for
process optimization
• Maintain a strong focus on quality control throughout the
manufacturing process
Disruption Mitigation and Production Pace Control:
• Identify and implement process improvements in order to reduce
cost or mitigate risks to the product or people
• Regularly incorporate feedback from the Production team
• Design methods to ensure product quality and standardization
Product Evolution Projects:
• Manage project deliverables related to own work package, remaining
strong communication with central functions as well as local, and
strong tie-in with customers.
• ensure project execution On-Time/On-Quality/On-Cost
• Assist in financial planning, cost analysis and estimate production
costs.

Qualified Experience and Training
Required Education
• A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant field
Required Experience
• 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly environment
• Knowledge of basic Production and Quality rules in aviation
• Solid experience in Project Management
• Ability to moderate technical decisions based on solution analysis and risk evaluation
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced knowledge in Office tools
• Experience in working in an intercultural environment
• High degree of flexibility and initiative. Experience in lean manufacturing
• Experience in consulting, change management or equivalent experience
• Experience with SQL or computer coding is a plus

• Possess the motivation to learn
• Knowledge of main aircraft components and their functions
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and tools used in lean manufacturing
• Ability to work in a team environment, cross-functional team environment, as well as
independently and with customers and channels.
• Ability to learn aircraft manufacturing basics (hydraulic, electric, mechanic)
• Ability to learn Airbus Industries mechanical process & methods.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and practice
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities
Required Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages)
• Have the ability to establish and maintain a good relationship with all internal customers.
• Have the ability to work in an international team.
• Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to present clear and concise briefings and reports to customers and executives
Preferred Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages)
• Fluency in German or French is a plus
Required Technical Systems Proficiency
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred Technical Systems Proficiency
• Knowledge of Airbus tools EPIQA, AVL2 and SAP is a plus
