We are looking to welcome an Industrial Engineer to our Lubeck office. This role plays an integral part in our Operational Excellence capabilities and our manufacturing performance. This role is an interim role and will offer employment for 2 years.

What you will do 

  • Participation in the planning, design and control of work systems, including the necessary data collection

  • Planning and implementation of time and process analyses through process observation using lean tools

  • Optimizing production by standardizing processes consistently according to the lean principle

  • Analyzing and eliminating bottlenecks (Theory of Constraints)

  • Balancing of production lines (Yamazumi/percentage load charts)

  • Visualization and creation of key production figures

  • Recognizing disruptions in the production process

  • Improvement of working procedures, working methods and working conditions, of workplaces, machines, tools, aids and in the process-oriented design of work objects

  • Collaboration with project members on various topics such as capacity planning, process improvements, etc.

  • Support in the calculation of production costs for product costing

  • Clarification of process-related challenges in production

  • Management of projects in the field of industrial engineering

Experience & Skills  

  • Bachelors and/or equivalent experience in engineering, production control (TU, FH)

  • Professional experience in the field of industrial engineering / lean management desirable

  • REFA / MTM knowledge

  • Experience in the use of lean management methods

  • Good IT skills, MS Office, SAP R3

  • Knowledge of data creation / analysis (SQL, Access, etc.)

  • Structured way of working

  • Fluent in German & English

  • Strong communication & collaboration skills

Industrial Engineer (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Mitwirkung bei der Planung, Gestaltung und Steuerung von Arbeitssystemen einschl. der dazu erforderlichen Datenermittlung

  • Planung und Durchführung von Zeit- und Prozessanalysen durch Prozessbeobachtung mithilfe der Lean Tools

  • Fertigungsoptimierung durch Standardisierung der Abläufe konsequent nach dem Lean-Prinzip

  • Engpässe analysieren und beseitigen (Theory of Constraints)

  • Austaktung von Fertigungslinien (Yamazumi-/ Percentage Load Charts)

  • Visualisierung und Erstellung von Produktionskennzahlen

  • Erkennung von Störungen im Fertigungsprozess

  • Verbesserung von Arbeitsverfahren, Arbeitsmethoden und Arbeitsbedingungen, von Arbeitsplätzen, Maschinen, Werkzeugen, Hilfsmitteln sowie in der ablaufgerechten Gestaltung von Arbeitsgegenständen

  • Zusammenarbeit mit Projektmitgliedern hinsichtlich verschiedener Themen wie z.B. Kapazitätsplanung, Prozessverbesserungen, etc.

  • Unterstützung bei der Kalkulation von Fertigungskosten für die Produktkalkulation

  • Klärung prozessbedingter Herausforderungen in der Fertigung

  • Leitung von Projekten im Bereich Industrial Engineering

Sie bringen mit:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Ingenieurbereich, Produktionssteuerung (TU, FH)

  • Berufserfahrung im Bereich Industrial Engineering/ Lean Management wünschenswert

  • REFA / MTM Kenntnisse

  • Erfahrungen im Einsatz von Lean Management Methoden

  • Gute EDV-Kenntnisse, MS Office, SAP R3

  • Kenntnisse in der Datenerstellung / Analyse (SQL, Access, etc.)

  • Strukturierte Arbeitsweise

  • Englisch fließend in Wort und Schrift

  • Sicheres Auftreten, sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

  • Teamfähigkeit, Flexibilität und Organisationsgeschick, Reisebereitschaft
