  • Collaborate with the Creative Director, design team, and external partners to realize innovative packaging, display, and retail presentation concepts.
  • Create and refine 3D models, prototypes, renderings, and detailed technical drawings, ensuring precision and alignment with brand standards.
  • Oversee client vendor communications, managing production timelines, materials, finishes, and manufacturability reviews.
  • Specify key technical details including glass weights, wall thicknesses, fill levels, pump and collar sizes, and overall fit, finish, and performance.
  • Develop and guide merchandising solutions (fixtures, displays, testers, countertop units, and visual merchandising systems) that balance aesthetic impact and practical construction.
  • Lead internal and external technical design reviews, presenting clear technical direction and recommendations.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot challenges, providing innovative, cost-effective solutions that maintain design integrity.
  • Stay informed on new materials, manufacturing technologies, sustainability innovations, and AI-based design tools to advance workflow and ideation.
  • Manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously, maintaining exceptional quality and consistency under fast-paced deadlines.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in packaging, industrial, or merchandising design - preferably within beauty, fragrance, spirits, or consumer goods
  • Proven experience leading design development projects and collaborating with manufacturing partners
  • Advanced technical skills in 3D modeling, visualization, and rendering (SolidWorks, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Keyshot, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with AI ideation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Vizcom, Midjourney)
  • Strong understanding of premium materials, construction methods, and finishing techniques across both packaging and merchandising design

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Proven expertise in packaging structure design, merchandising systems, and industrial development, ideally within beauty, fragrance, or luxury goods
  • Strong technical understanding of glass, plastics, metals, acrylics, and decorative processes for packaging and retail environments
  • Skilled in creating accurate technical specifications and drawings with strong knowledge of tolerances and component compatibility
  • Experience designing point-of-sale (POS) displays, in-store merchandising, and promotional installations
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with experience managing projects and overseeing junior talent
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of liaising confidently with both creative and production partners
  • Awareness of sustainability best practices across materials and manufacturing
  • Ability to balance creativity, technical precision, and business constraints in fast-paced, multi-brand environments
