Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Industrial Architect for news developments - dynamics systems (m/f) to join our team based in Marignane, France.

Your future missions:

By joining our team, you will participate in different missions, all focused on industrializing the helicopters of tomorrow

As an Industrial Architect for New Developments, you will join a highly motivated transnational team involved in industrializing the helicopters of tomorrow.

This is achieved through, among other things, the development of flexible industrial solutions and working in close collaboration with Design Office teams.

To strengthen our project team at the Marignane site, we are looking for talented, experienced candidates ready to make a difference by bringing their interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Your main missions will be:

Production Management

  • The industrial architect:

- will have to ensure since early development phases that the product concept / design, and the Operations Set-up respect the Operations Strategy, Requirements and Performances

- will have to define the industrial architecture incl. technical product and process definition: definition of the production and assembly concepts, process analysis and optimisation incl. logistical flows, definition of technically optimised installation solutions, definition of the production and control means incl. maintenance activities,

- will have to set-up, allocate, arbitrate Operations Targets and Requirements, and then demonstrate their achievement.
- will have to manage the configuration definition of the MCA configuration tree together with the configuration management, production and Support & Services teams,
- will have to define and validate the Maturity Plan all assemblies (Verification & Validation plan),
- will have to execute the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) incl. risks analysis and will implement the corrective actions,
- will have to analyze the value chain creation

- will be the industrial interface with the supplier in case of external industrialization,

- will have to determine methods/processes/means with validation by a technical referent, at the initiative of the employee,

- will have to apply processes (DEV-03, DEV-08, ...), methods & tools (APQP, IPM, FAI, Ring, ...).

Co-engineering

  • The industrial architect:

- will have to manage conceptual problem solving (ability to model to solve problems that come out of standards) requiring the combination of techniques,

- will be a technical referent in a general discipline and knowledge in several related disciplines (associated industrial products and systems)

- will have to organize the co-engineering with PSO, PLB, Engineering MAS and squads within the Programme Core Team, including integrated planning and industrialization logics,

- will have to perform the manufacturing assessment for the Dynamic assembly systems,

- will be accountable for the creation of the MCA industrial specification and alignment with the different system specifications,
- will have to define the interfaces, architecture and Bill Of Material,
- will have also to perform analysis of the helicopter architecture to improve system integrability (RC, ergonomics, etc.).

Project Management

  • The industrial architect:

- will be accountable to a complete system or large-scale subsystem,

- will have to negotiate and perform representation with diversified, multi-disciplinary decision-makers (class 16 and + / and institutions / external companies)

- will have to significantly contributes to the performance of a group of multi-disciplinary teams (complete system or large-scale subsystem) and transnational

- will be accountable to animate and share the vision for the MCA and CA MArignane industrialization for the H160M,

- will coordinate a cross functional teams (Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Industry and Support),

- will have to set-up the plan associated, to reach this industrialization, keeping under control the cost (Recurring Costs / Non-Reccurring costs) and the quality for the corresponding work package,

- will have to identify the risks and opportunities including definition of corrective measures,

- will have to participate to the offer evaluation and to manage the planned costs of H/C (hours & material), EVM and R&O incl. NRC accountability towards the programmes.

- will have to determine technical, financial, organizational and the means allocated with validation by the results,

Your profile:

Education: Engineering degree or equivalent.

Experience Level:

  • Experience in production area, knowledge in operation, experience in design beneficial

  • knowledge in project management (+ SAP and Catia optional but beneficial)

IT / Language Skills:

  • French: Negotiation level.

  • English: Negotiation level.

  • German and/or Spanish: Optional.

  • SAP and CATIA: Basic knowledge is optional but beneficial.

Travels:

  • Some travels to Germany will be needed (about 4/5 times per year),
