Individual Insurance Business Intelligence and Data Valorization Advisor

In the Individual Insurance Data Use Department, our mandate is to use a variety of quantitative tools and methods to collect, consolidate, model, visualize and interpret business data in order to provide decision-making support and give internal partners an overview of the activity being processed. You assist clients on analytics development initiatives that involve using data and designing reports tailored to business needs. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Help clients define their needs to ensure that the initiative or project meets the actual needs of users

  • Participate in prioritizing mandates by assessing the impact on members, clients and the organization

  • Build and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using database management systems 

  • Identify opportunities to improve methods and processes, and recommend improvements to data management

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • At least four years of relevant data valorization, analysis and visualization experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Proficiency in data visualization and interpretation techniques

  • Knowledge of a programming language such as SQL, SAS and Python

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Dax, Power Query or other visualization software

  • General knowledge of the individual insurance industry
