Indirect Procurement Expert

Position Summary

We are seeking an Indirect Procurement Expert to join Regal Rexnord’s Indirect Procurement team. This role is a critical leadership position responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across all business segments, with a primary focus on Professional Services and CAPEX.  This hybrid, on-site role—based in Rosemont, IL or Milwaukee, WI— is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives on building innovative solutions, influencing stakeholders, and creating measurable impact. You will lead end-to-end strategic sourcing for services and programs, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver cost optimization, supplier performance, and operational excellence. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Indirect Sourcing.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Rosemont, IL or Milwaukee, WI office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global Professional Services and CAPEX sourcing strategy, including categories such as Contingent Labor, Staffing, Equipment Rentals and Purchases, and Industrial Equipment Maintenance.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and manage complex, multi-year relationships to enable long-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with global supply chain, plant operations, engineering, and corporate leaders to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives, total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization, and supplier risk mitigation.
  • Establish and deploy standard processes, policies, and compliance frameworks across all segments.
  • Conduct market analysis and provide insights on pricing trends, availability, and risk factors.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, reporting dashboards, and strategic sourcing plans for leadership review.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to finance and operations teams to ensure accurate expense reporting and trade working capital (TWC) performance.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and position Regal Rexnord as a preferred customer.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in Professional Services and Capex sourcing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven success in developing and leading strategic sourcing programs and delivering year-over-year cost savings.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
  • Expertise in contract lifecycle management, supplier risk mitigation, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., Ariba, SAP, GEP).

  • MBA preferred
  • APICS certification preferred

Compensation Details: $130,000 - $180,000 plus incentives

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors
