The India Legal Hub Site Lead will serve as the senior leader for CrowdStrike’s India-based Legal team. This position is responsible for managing and developing a multidisciplinary group of legal professionals who support the company’s global legal operations, commercial work, and compliance initiatives.
The Site Lead will oversee the day-to-day functioning of the India Legal Hub, driving people leadership, operational excellence, and global collaboration. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with deep experience managing teams and delivering legal services at scale — ideally gained within a legal service provider, shared services center, or in-house technology company environment.
What You'll Do:
People Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of legal professionals supporting diverse areas such as commercial contracting, compliance, legal operations, and AI enablement.
Build a culture of accountability, inclusion, and professional growth that aligns with CrowdStrike’s global values and standards.
Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities to strengthen legal and operational capability.
Oversee staffing, workload management, and succession planning to ensure balanced, scalable team capacity.
Champion professional development initiatives, including participation in learning programs and other global training opportunities.
Operational and Site Management:
Serve as the senior on-site leader representing the Legal function in India, partnering closely with HR, IT, and Facilities to ensure smooth operations.
Establish clear processes, performance metrics, and service-level expectations to deliver consistent, high-quality legal support to global teams.
Oversee system access, knowledge management, and adherence to governance and data security protocols.
Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and automation to enhance efficiency and delivery.
Legal Oversight and Collaboration:
Provide legal and operational guidance to the India-based team across a range of support areas (e.g., commercial, compliance, corporate governance, and legal operations).
Ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with global Legal policies, templates, and playbooks.
Partner with global Legal and cross-functional leaders to support business objectives and manage escalations.
Contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement within the global Legal organization.
What You'll Need:
Required:
Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) and active license to practice in India.
10+ years of post-qualification experience, including 5+ years in people management roles.
Proven experience leading legal teams or service delivery hubs in a multinational environment.
Strong understanding of corporate and commercial legal practice, process optimization, and legal operations.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to lead through influence across geographies and cultures.
Preferred:
Experience in a legal service provider, shared services hub, or in-house legal team within a technology or SaaS company.
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, knowledge management tools, and operational metrics.
Exposure to AI-enabled legal tools and process automation.
Experience building or scaling global legal delivery teams.
