About the Role 

We are looking for a Documentum Platform Engineer to own and evolve our enterprise content management platform. This is a handson engineering role focused on OpenText Documentum, AWS, and Amazon EKS, supporting both cloud and hybrid environments. 

You will be responsible for platform reliability, performance, automation, upgrades, and cloud enablement, working closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Engineer, administer, and support OpenText Documentum (Content Server, DA, xPlore, DTS) 

  • Design, deploy, and operate Documentum on AWS, leveraging: Amazon EKS, Helm, Terraform / CloudFormation, Oracle databases, Amazon S3 

  • Manage multiple Documentum repositories (docbases) across dev, test, and production 

  • Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting 

  • Design and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions 

  • Plan and execute Documentum upgrades, patches, and hotfixes 

  • Upgrade and maintain EKS clusters and underlying Linux platforms 

  • Automate provisioning and deployments using InfrastructureasCode and CI/CD 

  • Implement and manage Documentum security models (ACLs, roles, groups) 

  • Integrate authentication with LDAP / Active Directory / OTDS 

  • Monitor platforms using Splunk, Dynatrace, and related tools 

  • Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis 

  • Create operational documentation and runbooks 

Required Qualifications  

  • 5+ years of handson OpenText Documentum experience 

  • Strong experience running Documentum on AWS 

  • Proven expertise with Amazon EKS and Kubernetesbased platforms 

  • Solid knowledge of AWS services, Linux, and cloud infrastructure 

  • Experience with Oracle databases supporting Documentum 

  • Deep understanding of: Documentum object models and xPlore indexing and performance tuning 

  • Experience with automation, CI/CD, and InfrastructureasCode 

  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and ITSM processes 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Documentum certifications 

  • Experience supporting Documentum in hybrid or largescale enterprise environments
